The Facilities team is primarily responsible for preparing and maintaining the buildings and related infrastructure.Duties and ResponsibilitiesAssist in the oversight of the maintenance, repair, and continuous improvement of all facility equipment, machinery, and infrastructure.Ensure all systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, boilers, safety equipment, etc.) are maintained and operational.Troubleshoot and resolve facility-related issues that may impact production.Provide engineering support for equipment upgrades, machine replacements, new equipment, and construction projects. Communicate project schedules and align outage and shutdown needs with stakeholders.Work with contractors, vendors, and other stakeholders to execute projects on time, within budget, and in compliance with safety and regulatory standards.Lead cross functional teams to deliver solutions on time and on terpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.Supply technical information and guidance to the Maintenance team Maintain a positive and cooperative collaboration with AQ team, customers, contractors, and vendors.Perform all functions in full compliance with corporate policies and procedures and all other applicable environmental, health, safety and GMP requirements.QualificationsAssociate degree in engineering or related field required; BS preferred.Proven knowledge of compressed air, boilers, cooling tower, chilled water, HVAC and electrical distribution systems; Basic AutoCad proficiencyResults driven mentality with proven decision-making skills and strong sense of ownership and accountability.Must be willing and able to work off-shift, weekends and holidays if needed for project or emergency troubleshooting.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a continuous improvement mindset.Ability to communicate and work effectively in a team-oriented environment.Professional self-starter with strong leadership and people skillsStrong time management skills with the ability to prioritize, multitask, anticipate changing project needs, and meet deadlines.Thorough working knowledge of all current OSHA and Safety StandardsPhysical RequirementsWhile performing the duties of this job, employees are regularly required to sit, walk and stand; talk or hear, both in person and by telephone; use hands repetitively to operate standard office equipment; reach with hands and arms; and lift up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision and the ability to adjust focus. Position will also frequent the production floor, so operating in standard seasonal warehouse and food processing plant temperature conditions will be required.
