Get more details below.Worksite Location: Rockville, MDCompensation: $65,000-72,000 + annual bonusPosition Overview: This role is responsible for driving non-media lead generation and brand awareness locally through experiential marketing. What you'll do as the Events & Retail Manager:Recruit, interview, hire, and train new team membersIn-field coachingManage department calendar - includes negotiating with event sponsors and outside vendors to procure space for eventsOversee participation in events, sponsorship, retail partnerships, and creation of lead-gen opportunitiesExpense and P&L management of Events and ShowroomCollaborate with internal partners such as Sales, Inside Sales, Talent Acquisition, HR, and FinanceCommunicate results and strategy with managementWhat you'll bring to the Events & Retail Manager role:Bachelor's degree in marketingcommunications or equivalent demonstrated skills and abilities3-5+ years of experience in sales or marketing, planning events, or managing retail teamsStrong leadership skillsAbility to think strategically, with strong project management skills, including attention to detailStrong verbal and written communication skillsAbility to self-manage resources to achieve objectivesAbility to analyze the effectiveness of events, sponsorships, and local programsAbility to understand the role of marketing communications, sales promotion, and advertisingDemonstrated ability with MS Office suiteThis company offers benefits including health, dental, vision, and life insurance.
