Electrical Designer

Position: Electrical DesignerLocation: San Ramon, CA (Hybrid)Pay: $45hourType: Full-time; ContractSchedule: Monday - Friday, Day ShiftExperience: 2-5 years in Electrical Engineering, focusing on electrical construction documents (residential, commercial, etc.).Education: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent with at least 1 year of experience in a related field.Software: ETAP proficiency is strongly preferred.Conde Group is seeking an Electrical Designer to join a growing and dynamic team!Job Description:Conduct site surveys, review photographs and as-built drawings for project analysis.Create digital or hand-drafted mark-ups and sketches for BIM Technicians.Perform code analysis (NEC, CEC, Utility Design Standards).Select and specify equipment and materials for electrical designs.Design electrical plans for power, lighting, fire alarms, communications, and plete load analysis, calculations, and arc-flash assessments.Prepare panel schedules for switchboards, distribution, and branch circuits.Draft single-line diagrams and assist with energy compliance design.Coordinate with architects, structural, civil, and mechanical engineers.Participate in quality assurance and peer reviews of designs.Position Requirements:Proficiency in drafting and creating AutoCAD drawings (AutoCAD 2020 or newer).Familiarity with California codes, NFPA regulations, and electrical design standards.Ability to apply mathematical concepts (geometry, trigonometry) to electrical design.Experience with ETAP, creating Arc Flash labels, and using Revit or DraftSight.Strong verbal and written communication skills; participation in meetings and client outreach.Field experience and knowledge of the flow of construction projects from conception to occupancy.Knowledge of PG&E, SMUD, or other utility providers' design standards.Experience with Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, Adobe PDF, and .Ability to work in a team environment, self-motivated with a strong work ethic.Familiarity with Windows operating systems, network drives, and remote connection tools like OpenVPN.Proficiency in virtual meeting tools such as Google Meet, Zoom, and Microsoft Teams.Conde Group is part of Array Corporation, the leading technology-enabled workforce solutions company whose mission is to fix how labor is bought, sold and delivered to enable universal access to the American Dream.We are proud to be an Equal Employment Opportunity and Affirmative Action employer.
