Job Title: Offshore Termination & Joint InspectorsIndustry: Offshore WindLocation: OffshoreEmployment Type: ContractRotation: 14x14Duration and Notes: March 2025 - June 2025Project will commence work again in September, after 2 months break (new contract possible if the feedback from the Project is positive). Project is covering the travel expenses (flights and hotel are a subject to pre-approval from the Manager)Position Overview:We are seeking multiple skilled and experienced Termination and Joint Inspectors to support a leading project in the offshore wind industry. The Termination Inspector will be responsible for ensuring high-quality terminations of electrical systems and cables, verifying compliance with industry standards, and maintaining safe work practices in an offshore environment. This role requires a strong understanding of offshore wind operations and electrical systems, as well as attention to detail and a commitment to safety.Key Responsibilities:Inspect the termination of cables and electrical systems to ensure compliance with project specifications, standards, and quality requirements.Review and verify the proper installation, alignment, and connection of terminations in accordance with engineering drawings and manufacturer guidelines.Document and report on inspection findings, including deficiencies and non-conformances, and recommend corrective actions.Collaborate with the installation team to address quality or technical issues related to terminations.Conduct visual and mechanical inspections of cable terminations, ensuring they meet safety and operational requirements.Support the development of inspection reports and maintain accurate records of all activities.Follow and enforce safety protocols in offshore environments, ensuring compliance with applicable health and safety regulations.Work closely with the project team, including engineers, technicians, and contractors, to maintain alignment on project goals and milestones.Skills in HVMV cable jointingtermination, cable laddercleating systems, subsea cable hang off systems, earthing and bonding of cable systems. Strong QHSE awareness in an industrialconstructionoffshore sector. Ability to interpret industry standards, TRs and familiar with HVC and FOC testing. Familiar with high voltage equipment in general, including cables and accessories (voltage level from and above 33kV)Qualifications:Proven experience in cable termination inspection or similar roles in the offshore wind, oil and gas, or energy sectors.Strong understanding of electrical systems, cable termination techniques, and industry standards (e.g., IEC, ISO).Knowledge of offshore wind industry practices, including health and safety requirements.Experience interpreting technical drawings, schematics, and specifications.Relevant certifications, such as HV or LV termination training, offshore safety training (e.g., GWO), and electrical qualifications, are highly desirable.Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to work independently in offshore conditions.Excellent communication skills, with the ability to document and report findings clearly and concisely.Work Conditions:Offshore rotations required, involving extended periods on-site.Candidates must meet physical fitness requirements to work in offshore pliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations is pensation:Competitive hourly rate commensurate with experience.This is an excellent opportunity to join a leading organization in the offshore wind industry and contribute to a critical renewable energy project.
