The Project Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, and overseeing projects to ensure timely, within-scope, and on-budget completion. This role involves managing resources, budgets, and timelines while ensuring quality standards and stakeholder satisfaction. The Project Manager leads cross-functional teams, communicates with all stakeholders, and manages risks to align projects with organizational goals. They track progress, provide regular updates, and adjust plans to address obstacles or scope changes.The Project Manager handles all aspects of projects from initiation through project closeout. This position is responsible for project execution, including direction and coordination of the field office and managing construction subcontracts and purchase orders.The Project Manager supervises all field operations on assigned projects and may temporarily perform project management duties from the work site. They will audit and inspect subcontractor work for compliance with contract specifications, including tests and report preparation.This position will be required to travel up to 75% of the time, including travel to Puerto Rico. Job DutiesCreate project plans and schedules Create and revise project budgetsPlans, executes, and provides reporting on overall project performanceMonitor project progress, identify issues and delays, and implement actionsOversee project execution to ensure adherence to quality standards and timelinesAdministration and management of the prime contract, construction subcontracts, and purchase ordersApprove project invoicesManage change orders and change order pricing submissionOversight of subcontractor work progress, invoices, and purchase order submittalsEnsures compliance with customer goals and expectations associated with safety, quality, and environmental stewardshipCoordinates, prepares, and presents progress, budget forecasting, and schedule management reports monthlyUpdate schedules in P6Performs post-construction cost review and reportingPerforms other duties as assignedAdheres to internal standards, policies, and procedureQualificationsBachelor's degree in Business, Construction ScienceManagement, Engineering, or equivalent field; equivalent work experience, or combination of work and education, may be substituted5+ years' experience in Construction Project ManagementPMP preferredAbility to demonstrate thorough knowledge of materials, methods, and equipment used in Transmission, Distribution, and Substation workMust be well-versed in various aspects of engineering, design, construction, and contracting methodologies. This includes project planning and management-related tasks and activities such as:Engineering, estimating, scheduling, bidding, project management and administration, management of prime contracts, preparation and administration of purchase orders and subcontracts, field supervision, budget control, safety, and quality assurance.
