CLA has an immediate need for an experienced Real Estate Paralegal for a well-established law firm located in Charleston, SC. The ideal candidate must have experience with residential real estate closings in a law firm from start to finish.Sample Responsibilities:All pre- and post-closing dutiesOrder and review title searchesPreparation and issuance of title commitments and final policiesPreparing closing documentspackages including HUD formsWorking with clients, lender, real estate agents and other law firm personnelPrepare DisbursementsQualifications:2-3 years of experience with residential real estate closings in a law firmProficient in SoftPro and MS Office SuiteMust be detail-oriented and deadline-drivenMust be able to handle a fast-paced environmentProficient in reading title work, preparing title commitments, and preparing closing documentsAssociate's degree preferred, but not requiredThis position offers competitive compensation and benefits, commensurate with the scope of the position and a candidate's expertise and experience.All resumes are held in strict confidence.Note: This job description is intended to provide a general overview of the position.
