The company must foster a creative and self-motivated atmosphere to be relevant in today's retail world, and we are looking for energetic and industrious people to help us build on our decades of success.ResponsibilitiesTeam LeadershipManages & mentors a team of engineers and designersFosters a collaborative & innovative work environmentProject ManagementOversees engineering projects from concept to completionEnsures they meet quality standards, timelines, & budget constraintsTechnical ExpertiseUtilizes Mastercam for CNC programmingUtilizes SolidWorks for 3D modeling & designUtilizes Cutrite for routing systemProvides guidance & support to team membersProcess ImprovementIdentifies & implements process improvements to enhance efficiency & productivityCross-Functional CollaborationWorks closely with departments to ensure seamless project execution & alignment with company goalsDocumentationMaintains accurate project documentation, including:Design specificationsProject PlansReportsResearch & DevelopmentTransforms prototype design to production in a multi-unit assembly line manufacturing facilityQualificationsEducationDegree in Mechanical Engineering, or related fieldExperience5+ years of experience in engineering management, with a strong focus on CNC machining and CAD softwareRequired SkillsStrong background in manufacturing processesProficiency in Mastercam, Cadlink, & SolidWorks is essentialWorking knowledge of UL & NSF certification requirementsKnowledge of ERP SystemsPreferred SkillsExperience with other CADCAM software is a plusSyteline ERP experience is also a plusWe are an Equal Opportunity Employer.
