The CompanyThe company provides cutting-edge, impenetrable, protective doors engineered with advanced military-grade materials, rigorously tested to the highest standards, and fully customizable to meet diverse applications, security requirements, and architectural preferences.Join a group of industrial athletes who possess an intensity unmatched in the industry with integrity as the cornerstone.Seeking Quality Control Manager to ensure compliance with contract specifications and technical requirements by executing and overseeing quality control programs, conducting inspections, maintaining documentation, coordinating with clients and subcontractors, and managing full-life cycle project quality assurance processes.The Compensation$125K - $140K Competitive Annual Base Salary Range Commensurate Based on ExperienceThe LocationFully onsite position based in Ladson, SC with travel to Washington, D.C. as requiredThe BenefitsComprehensive Company-Sponsored Healthcare, Vision & Dental Plans401(k) with Up to 4% Company MatchPaid Holidays & Paid Time Off (PTO) Plan Starting at 136 Hours for New EmployeesFlexible Spending Plans & Health Care Savings Plans AvailableCompany-Sponsored Long-Term Disability CoverageVoluntary Life, AD&D & Short-Term Disability Coverage AvailableThe RoleReview the contract and design drawings, specifications, and other documentation, and establish full familiarity with the design and technical requirements for each project.Prepare andor adhere to the Contractor's Quality Control Plan, ensure on-time submittals to the customer, and ensure approval is obtained.Execute the Quality Control Program on-site and follow the specified quality procedures and three-phase inspections.Maintain complete and updated quality control documentation and records, both electronically and physically, following all security protocols mandated by the Government and the project team.Update a set of "Red-Lined As-Built Drawings & Records" during the course of construction at all times on the project site and prepare and submit the Final As-Built Documentation after contract completion as required by the spect and perform material and equipment testing coordination and control.Perform and supervise inspection and testing activities to ensure high quality and high technical integrity.Liaise and coordinate with the client and involved customer representatives, the project management team of company clients, and all other subcontractors and partners for all aspects related to quality control and quality assurance.Formulate, document, and maintain quality control standards and ongoing quality control objectives.Manage and review the submittals and the submittal register.Check material, design, coordination drawings, shop, and as-built drawings.Manage a team of quality control inspectors and technicians as required.The Background ProfileU.S. Citizenship requiredBachelor's Degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, Quality Control, or similar field or equivalent experienceAbility to pass a Public Trust security background investigation for site access10+ years of experience implementing similar construction quality control programs; prior experience as a Quality Control Manager on high-valued projects over $25M preferredSuccessful completion of OSHA 30-Hour Outreach Training Program preferredPrior experience with U.S. Government projects a plusPMP (or equivalent Project ManagementConstruction Management Certification) or completion of "Construction Quality Management for Contractors" United States Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) course a plusProficiency in project management tools and softwareAbility to work in the Ladson, SC facility (1st Shift) with travel to Washington, D.C.
