Get more details below.Contract Duration: 3 monthsWorksite Location: Avon, MNCompensation: $30.00-$38.00 per hourWhat you'll do as the Payroll Tax Analyst:Prepare weekly Payroll tax balancing and submit reports to outsourced tax vendorsPerform weekly internal Payroll tax audits and process tax adjustments as needed to ensure accurate quarterly tax reporting for federal, state, and local tax returns including unemployment, statelocal withholding, and annual returnsPrepare and file all annual tax returns, including W2s, Form 940Reviewaudit quarterly reports for unemployment, statelocal withholding, and annual returnsCollect payroll tax downloads, balance payroll tax data, and process deposits timely from multiple sourcesPerform detailed analysis and quarterlyyearly reconciliation of payroll tax unit balances and payments madeduePrepare federal, state, and local income tax returns, state unemployment tax returns, and prior quarteryearend adjustmentsUnderstand and analyze state and federal tax withholding, deposit methodsdue dates, and reporting requirementsPrepare and submit daily journal entries to book tax payments utilizing Oracle FinancialsReview and respond to general ledger balance inquiries for payroll tax accountsWhat you'll bring to the Payroll Tax Analyst role:3-5+ years of tax experience in Payroll for a large, multi-state employer1+ years of accounting experience preparing journal entries and performing account reconciliationStrong knowledge of payroll tax laws and reporting requirementsPrevious payroll processing experienceExperience working with Workday, JDE, and ADP preferredWell organized and detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracyAnalytically minded with strong mathematical and financial skillsAbility to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectivelyProficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, and Word).As an equal-opportunity employer, Dahl Consulting welcomes candidates of all backgrounds and experiences to apply.
