Field Service Technician

ABB is seeking a Field Service Technician to support Process Industries customers in the Lewiston, Idaho region. This role involves installation, preventive maintenance, and corrective service for laboratory and production process testing instruments, ensuring optimal system performance. What You'll Do:Perform on-site preventive and corrective maintenance, installation, and remote support for industrial testing instrumentsEnsure all service activities meet ISO-certified policies and proceduresTroubleshoot and resolve issues related to networking, software configuration, and electronic systemsUtilize calibration and test equipment to ensure system accuracyDocument service activities and maintain compliance with safety and quality standardsWhat We're Looking For:8+ years of related work or military experience with an associate's degree (or 10+ years with a HS diplomaGED)Strong understanding of network support, computer repair, and OS restorationPrevious experience in HVAC systems, industrial automation, or process control systemsExperience using calibration and electronic test equipmentProficiency in Windows 10, Microsoft Office 365, and general software applicationsWillingness to travel 65%+ domestically and internationallyAbility to work overtime as needed to meet customer demands This is an opportunity to join a global leader in automation and electrification, supporting industries such as mining, pulp & paper, metals, cement, and more.
