Construction Manager - Fiber Deployment ProjectsJoin an innovative team that's at the forefront of cutting-edge fiber deployment! As an Outside Plant (OSP) Construction Manager, you'll be responsible for overseeing the development of high-performance fiber networks. You'll play a key role in ensuring every phase of the construction process, from inception to closeout, is executed flawlessly and efficiently.Key Responsibilities:Lead the way in managing new fiber plant deployments across diverse sites, ensuring all stages of construction are well-coordinated and completed on time.Drive project success through active participation in bid walks, pre-construction meetings, in-progress site visits, punch walks, and final construction closeouts.Navigate and manage the permitting process with expertise in Attachments, Make-Ready, Agency interactions, and tracking processes to keep things moving smoothly.Take charge of negotiating costs and managing the scope to ensure projects are delivered within budget while maintaining the highest quality standards.Solve onsite challenges swiftly and strategically, making timely recommendations that protect both project timelines and budgets.Collaborate seamlessly with permitting authorities, municipalities, engineering, and planning teams to guarantee smooth coordination across all stakeholders.Ensure all work adheres to established standards, with a keen focus on accuracy and quality.Maintain comprehensive project files and documentation, ensuring they are organized and up-to-date for smooth project closeouts.Keep projects on track by ensuring accurate, real-time tracking within the project management system.Bonus: Experience with splicing diagrams and OTDR readings to further enhance your ability to manage fiber deployments.Must-Haves:Proven experience managing OSP construction projects, including fiber network deployments.Strong knowledge of Right of Way project execution.Experience collaborating with local municipalities is a plus.Fiber splicing knowledge is a major advantage.Excellent computer skills and a solid understanding of project tracking systems.A clean driving record to help you navigate across multiple project sites with ease.This is a dynamic, high-impact role with opportunities to shape the future of fiber infrastructure.
