FACILITIES SECURITY OFFICER (FSO)NineTwelve is currently seeking an individual to fill a Facilities Security Officer position in the Crane, IN area. Potential candidates must have an active government security clearance and relevant prior experience in Industrial Security and Facility Management or related fields and must be a certified FSO.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESImplement and uphold industrial and personnel security programming maintaining compliance with the National Industrial Security Operating Manual (NISPOM), DoD Manual 5205.07, 32 CFR part 117, and other relevant Intelligence Community Directive (ICD) standards.Maintain and manage Facility Clearance Level (FCL) ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and guidelines.Prepare for and undergo security audits, government inspections and self-inspections, in accordance with DCSA complianceRoutinely operate within databases such as DISS, NISS, NBIS, NCAISS, etc.Process and manage personnel security clearances; oversee clearance ownership, verify visitor clearances, COMSEC, CAC verifications, etc.Establish and implement security procedures pertaining to facility security, visitor control, secure spaces, etc.Ensure proper handling of secure materialsPrepare and administer annual security education and training to maintain compliance for all cleared employeesParticipate in the Insider Threat Program (ITP)with organization's security leadFacilitates day-to-day security functions; foreign travel, facilitating personnel inquiries, investigations, reporting requirements, violation investigations, initial security briefings, debriefs, etc.Serve as liaison with customer, DoD and IC agencies such as DCSA, and private contractors as applicable and requiredManage SAP programs and secure spacesAssist in implementation of security protocols per DD254 requirementOversee day-to-day facility operations of a DoD facility site occupied by numerous contractors, DoD and government personnelAssist in the implementation of security protocols per DD254 requirements.REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND SKILLSMust be a U.S. citizen with a current active Secret clearance and ability to upgrade to Top Secret.Minimum 5 years of related experienceExtensive understanding and knowledge of the NISPOM, CFR 32 part 117, and other ICD standardsStrong understanding of physical securityExtensive experience and comfortability using and operating within DISS, NISS, NBIS, eQIP, JPAS, SWFTExperience in SCIF, secure space, and closed area construction, operations, and managementStrong working knowledge of relevant security regulations and formsCompletion of CDSE FSO CertificationKNOWLEDGESKILLSABILITIESAdvanced MS Excel skillsExcellent written and verbal communications skillsAbility to use good judgment, diplomacy, maintain confidentiality and to exercise discretion on various operational matters.High level of skill in composition, grammatical editing and proofreading are required.Must be a motivated, adaptable team player with the ability to exercise initiative and to work well with others.Strong organizational skills and ability to handle multiple projects necessary.Must have strong problem solving and decision-making skills, as well as attention to details.Must be able to work independently, requiring minimal supervision with the ability to manage time, make sound decisions, take independent action, analyze problems and provide focused solutions.EDUCATIONBachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field or additional years of experience in lieu of degree. COMPENSATIONPay based on experience and qualifications. Benefits include: company sponsored health insurance, 401(k) and 2 weeks PTO for full-time employees.
