Cullerton Group has a new opportunity for an Mechanical Engineer 4 in Mossville, IL. The work will be done onsite. This is a long term contract. It can lead to permanent employment with our customer. Compensation is $55hr including benefits, vision, dental, health insurance, 401K and holiday pay. Cullerton Group will provide sponsorship.Typical task breakdown:CAD design and detailingTeardown follow-up and analysisResearch, design, develop, manufacture, and test tools, engines, machines and other mechanical devices.Research and analyze customer design proposals, specifications, manuals to determine time and cost feasibility to complete vestigate equipment failures and difficulties to diagnose faulty operation and make recommendation to maintenance crew.Assist drafters in developing the structural design of products using tools, equipment or teraction with team: Weekly Daily meetings Work environment: Strong collaborationEducation & Experience Required: Bachelors degree in engineering required5-7 years total engineering experience3-5 years of detailing experienceMaster's Degree in engineering will be consideredTechnical Skills (Required)Previous experience with computer applications and software related to engineering field, such as Computer Aided Design (CAD).CAD DetailingExcel computation Ability to make sketches, engineering drawings and common computations.Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawing, schematics and computer-generated reports.Experience with Teamcenter and Creo(Desired) Previous Caterpillar experience (1E spec's etc)FEA analysisEMThermal motor analysisCFD analysisRotating componentstructural design backgroundSoft Skills(Required)Strong communicator, both verbal and writtenHeavy initiative Analytical and problem solving ability.Team player and detail oriented.
