TRC Talent Solutions is seeking to find a Process Engineer to join a growing team. This is a full-time permanent position with a manufacturer located in Covington, GA. The ideal candidate will have prior hands-on experience as Process Engineer within a manufacturing environment. Responsibilities:Performs research, design and development of manufacturing processes including production flow, assembly methods and production equipment.Prepares and maintains detailed layouts of buildings and equipment.Coordinates the manufacturing launch of newrevised products including establishing goals, training team members and evaluating results.Create manning plans based on volume forecasts for new programs.Gives input to product design based on design for manufacturedesign for assembly philosophy.Designs, develops and tests andor sources and cost-justifies various tools, machinery and equipment for recommended manufacturing methods.Performs productprocess analysis for cost reduction, quality improvement, and improved efficiency.Develop and document quality system for new programs (control plan, PFMEA, process flow, work instructions, and inspection plans.)Coordinate and document all Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) activities.Calculate required dunnage usage. Design, test and order all necessary dunnage for new programs.Develop and maintain documentation such as downtime, scrap, and efficiencies.Utilize data such as downtime, scrap, efficiencies, etc. to plan and strategize countermeasures for equipment and process problems.Leads or participates in Kaizen activities to ensure continuous improvement in processes, products, components, raw materials, and equipment.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field with five (5) years Engineering experience. Experience in automotive manufacturing industry is preferred.Kaizen and Lean Manufacturing techniques.Technical skills in manufacturing processes and methods including flow, layout, assembly and production equipment.Problem analysis and problem resolution.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Excellent organizational skills.Ability to motivate team efforts to accomplish goals. Must be proficient in MSWord, Excel, and PowerPoint. Some Access experience preferred.
