About the Role:Seeking an experienced and strategic Senior Vice President, Credit Administrator to play a critical role in managing and overseeing our credit administration function. Reporting directly to the Chief Credit Officer (CCO), this leader will ensure the efficiency, compliance, and effectiveness of the bank's credit activities.This is an opportunity to drive the quality of our commercial lending portfolio, enhance credit risk management processes, and provide strategic leadership to our credit teams.Key Responsibilities:✅ Lead, manage, and mentor Conventional and SBA Credit Managers and underwriting teams.✅ Review and evaluate new and renewal credit proposals for commercial borrowers, ensuring high-quality underwriting standards.✅ Serve as the primary quality control point for credit underwriting, improving processes and efficiencies.✅ Develop creative solutions to address complex or challenging credit situations.✅ Maintain and update the Loan Policy, ensuring alignment with regulations and risk management best practices.✅ Oversee portfolio management reports, including watch lists, problem loans, loan policy exceptions, and industry concentrations.✅ Conduct portfolio-level analytics and stress testing to identify potential risks.✅ Collaborate with Construction Loan Management to monitor project delays, change orders, and mechanic liens.✅ Provide strategic guidance to Executive Management on a broad range of credit issues.✅ Assist in external credit reviews and regulatory examinations.✅ Support Special Assets, liquidations, and ORE property management as needed.✅ Serve as the Secretary for the Director Loan Committee, preparing and maintaining meeting minutes.What We're Looking For:✔ Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field (preferred).✔ 10+ years of experience in Credit Risk Management, Credit Administration, Loan Workouts, andor Commercial Real Estate & Business Loan Underwriting.✔ 5-7 years of supervisory experience in credit administration or risk management.✔ Strong analytical, strategic, and leadership skills with the ability to assess complex credit scenarios.✔ Deep knowledge of credit risk management, industry trends, and federal & state banking regulations.✔ Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.✔ Exceptional communication, problem-solving, and multi-tasking abilities in a fast-paced environment.
