This position reports directly to the Manager, EHS Environmental. This position is directly responsible for the day-to-day support of Carlisle's environmental compliance processes by executing, managing, or supporting other EHS and Operations team members in the completion of required environmental-related reports, plans, and permits across all manufacturing sites within assigned business unit. Standard working hours are 8am - 5pm, Monday - Friday. This position requires routine domestic and international travel, around 20-30% annually. (Some site travel to Canada locations)Duties and Responsibilities:Regular daily tactical communications with Environmental Manager as well as Divisional EHS ManagersProvide daily support to all manufacturing facilities, within assigned business unit, to ensure all required compliance reporting (such as stormwater and air emission reporting) is executed accurately and on timeDevelop and implement site-specific environmental compliance assurance systemsExecute air permit emission calculations and submissionsManage new source air permittingExecute formal multi-media environmental aspect evaluations for new processes and equipmentManage environmental consultantsOn-board and mentor site and Divisional associates on site-specific environmental compliance requirementsTrain new users on Carlisle electronic environmental toolsEnsure all new and existing environmental aspects are accurately entered and maintained into all on-line environmental toolsEnsure accurate notifications are executed though on-line environmental compliance toolsCompile, analyze and prepare environmental data dashboarding for OperationsBe the subject matter expert for all environmental tools for Carlisle across all affected departments such as EHS, COS, Operations and SustainabilityPartner with all levels of Leadership to produce compliance status reportsMaintain waste profiles and be the main point of contact for business wide waste brokersLead environmental-related event investigationsSupport 14001 certification activities across assigned business unitSupport other Carlisle departments such as the Sustainability TeamAssist sites in their preparation of required site-specific environmental plans such as: stormwater, spill, and waste minimizationParticipate in industry and professional interest groups to stay current on trends, issues, and technological innovationAct as an Divisional environmental compliance expertLead in-depth multi-media environmental compliance auditsOther duties as assignedEducation and Experience:Bachelor's degree in engineering, environmental science or related technical field of study5 years preferred of experience in environmental compliance management, preferably in a manufacturing facilityExperience in major source air permitting (Title V)Professional certifications (CIH, CSP) preferred
