Senior Mechanical Design Engineer

A globally prominent and rapidly growing production machinery OEM seeks to hire senior-level Mechanical Engineer due to their continued growth of the organization. Reporting to the Senior Engineering Manager, this position will be responsible for the development and improvement of new product design and manufacturability. This is a full-time, direct hire opportunity.Primary Responsibilities:Develop and improve new and existing equipment, systems, and sub assembly designs in accordance with market trends and customer requirements.Draft and test prototype models to assure optimal design, standardization, quality, and manufacturability.Modify and improve designs to correct operationalproduction issues.Support assembly teract with customers to ensure strong channels of communication regarding specifications.Required Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (or Technology) required.2-4+ years of experience within productequipment andor machine control systems development.Strong skills with CAD systems and other mainstream design programs.Our client offers a competitive portfolio of insurance benefits and other attractive perks in addition to continued opportunities for advancement.
