Process Improvement Manager

An electric utility client is looking for a Process Improvement Manager who will lead the strategic development of TransmissionSubstation asset strategies that influence infrastructure replacement for electric field assets.Location: Pomona, CA 91768 (Hybrid) Position: Process Improvement Manager Pay Rate: $73hr. on W2 Duration: 18 months or longer Schedule: 1st shift, M-F, possible onsite on Wednesdays and Thursdays, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm RESPONSIBILITIESLead the strategic development of TransmissionSubstation asset strategies that influence infrastructure replacement for electric field assetsLead the development of risk informed strategies along with scope development for electrical field assetsDevelop & refine asset strategies that influence significant scope and final spend.Develop & advocate for solutions based on asset strategiesPresent to senior leadership (e.g. operationalcorporate governing bodies) and acts as a key advisor to the senior & executive leadership team.QUALIFICATIONS:Bachelor's Degree required.Ten years of experience supporting or leading significant cross-functional business projects or strategic plans.Strong project or program management skills and ability to effectively lead multiple priorities.Experience leading process improvement initiatives.Strong analytical skills.DESIRED QUALIFICATIONSMaster's degree in applicable profession, business, or technical discipline.PMP certification, Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or higherHigh level of demonstrated expertise in organization and follow-through.Experience in applying a structured problem-solving approach to improve company performance or deliver strategic value.Experience writing and communicating both complex material and high-level summaries for varied audiences.Demonstrated ability to develop relationships at all levels of the company.About our client: Our client is one of the largest electric utilities and a longtime leader in renewable energy and energy efficiency in the United States providing electricity for much of Southern California.
