Senior Field Engineer

AgZen's mission is to make agrochemical spraying more efficient and eliminate pesticide waste. Our patented retrofits allow farmers to spray up to 50% less agrochemicals while improving pestdisease control, crop health, and yield. We are a vibrant, venture-backed startup based in Boston, Massachusetts that is actively expanding to Lafayette, Indiana and we are committed to helping farmers save money and preventing the over-spraying of agrochemicals.We are looking for a sharp, tenacious, and creative Field Engineer to help with the development and implementation of AgZen's product portfolio. This role is at the intersection of agrochemical spraying, science, and engineering. This position will broadly support AgZen's on-field commercial and in-lab research and development activities to reduce pesticide use, focusing on the continual improvements of our products used in food crops. The role will involve solving diverse, complex problems as a part of our world class engineering team, focusing on installing our products on farms across the US, focusing mainly in the Midwest, and working closely with commercial customers throughout the growing season to ensure product performance and uptime. Strong communication and organizational skills are a must. Teamwork and the desire to learn in a fast-paced environment in the field are all essential skills for a successful applicant. Exact start date is flexible. The position is based around Lafayette, Indiana and travel within the US may be expected to meet or exceed 60% of time during peak growing months with seasonal variation.
