Join the Reyes team and become a part of an established Heavy Civil General Contracting firm.Reyes has variety of clients including the U.S. Navy, Ports of Los Angeles, Long Beach and San Diego, Army Corps of Engineers, and various counties and cities projects. Our past projects include a wide range of Heavy Civil Construction. We are seeking to hire an experienced payroll and human resources assistant.General Description:The Payroll Coordinator will provide support to the Human Resources Manager. Responsibilities will include assisting in Payroll, Human Resources, prevailing wage, and certified payrolls. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, detail oriented, excellent communication skills, multi-task, problem solving, and prioritize workload. HR Duties and Responsibilities:·Assist with onboarding process.·Filing Employee Folders·Safety Certificate scanning & Filing·Misc. copying, scanning, filing.·Reyes Gear ordering inventory·Assist with Verizon phones, I-pads, Mifi's·Monthly B-day mailing cards·Assist with event planning.·Add Vacation sick requests to company calendar.·Jobsite poster compliance·Mail out weekly direct deposit stubsLabor Compliance Duties and Responsibilities·Track sub supplier logs from jobs·Subcontractor certified payrolls & labor compliance documents.·Update AP logs for payment approval·Enter payrolls into DIR eCPR systemRequirements:·Experience in HR Payroll preferred. ·Experience in Construction Public Works prevailing wage and certified payrolls preferred. ·High School diploma or equivalent required.·Excellent organizational skills·Proficiency in MS Excel, MSWord, and MS Outlook is necessary. Position Details:·Permanent Full-Time position·Salary range $28-$32 per hour; commensurate with experience·Benefits offered: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, FSA Program, 401K, paid vacation and sick time ·Pre-Employment Drug Screen required.
