As a National Account Representative, you are responsible for developing existing andor seeking new customer relationships by being a pivotal piece in their supply chain and logistics divisions. Team members, including you, work to create and grow long-lasting partnerships with customers and carriers. Our vision is to be the best partner for our customers by providing clever solutions and exceptional service.Key ResponsibilitiesAggressively marketing the Jones Logistics brand to develop new accounts and secure an established customer base by navigating Jones' proprietary application.Develop, maintain, and manage customer relationships and expectations.Focus on offering a variety of logistics services and solutions tailored to our customers' dynamic and multi-faceted manufacturing and shipping needs.Negotiate and execute multiple orders per day to efficiently meet the needs of our customers.Navigate Jones' proprietary applications to manage customer supply chains quickly and efficiently.Build relationships with internal departments to ensure customer transactions are processed accurately and efficiently.Ability to fully learn the logistics industry, market, and business.QualificationsBachelor's degree preferred, but not requiredPrevious supply chain experience or sales experience is preferred, but not requiredAbility to communicate effectively over the phoneTime-management skillsSelf-motivationAbility to multitaskAbility and willingness to seek out work and the drive to accomplish goalsAbility to establish and maintain healthy working relationships with clients, vendors, and peersKnowledge of the activities and responsibilities involved in selling a product or serviceAbility to analyze client activities, profiles, and informationUnderstanding of the importance of meeting or exceeding established targets and the ability to drive critical activities to completionAbility to work in office Mon-Friday
