This role is based at our HQ in Solon, Ohio.Applicants must be authorized to work for ANY employer in the U.S. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa at this time.The Role:MRI Software is seeking a Manager of FP&A to join our growing team! This role will be a key asset in the future growth of the company. This individual will be leading a team of analysts and will be spear-heading the Company's financial quarterly forecasting, annual budgeting process, operating plan variance analysis and special project tracking centered around Personnel. She will provide financial consulting and strategic support to senior management to ensure MRI's largest expenditure is appropriately managed and aligns to driving the highest shareholder value. This role will report directly to the Director of FP&A. The key responsibilities of this role will be:Manage the preparation of the monthly leadership reporting process to be presented to Senior Leadership while overseeing a team of analystsVigorously manage all items related to personnel spend as it relates to the entire employee life cycle in financial systems - from creating a requisition, recruitment management, and forecast management of existing employeesAnalyze current and past trends in key performance across all headcount metrics globally and cross functionally; highlight trends and analyze causes of unexpected variabilitySupervision and upskilling of Financial Analyst(s)Management of EPM Tool - Vena Software - for all personnel related metricsOwnership of partnership with HR team and Workday HRIS as it relates to managing the personnel forecastOversee and manage the continued development of Budgeting, Financial Forecasting, Operating Plan and Modeling toolsTrack, review, analyze, and report on all personnel related strategic initiatives, serving as point person for all consolidated financial informationWork with Accounting and Payroll Department to evaluate and understand any personnel variances at a detailed level, leveraging NetSuite ERP system as neededIdentify and implement opportunities for optimization of processes involving headcount and compensation reporting forecasting budgeting, strategic initiative tracking, integration of Workday to Vena, etcAssistmanage integration of acquired company financialspersonnelAnalyze complex financial information and reports to provide accurate and timely financial recommendations to management for decision making purposesSupporting Senior Management Team and Departments heads with in-depth analysisPrepare presentations to Board of Directors and Senior Management TeamAd-Hoc Reporting and AnalysisYou Have:5 plus years of experience in financial analysis with exposure to managing personnel budgetsforecastTechnologySoftwarePrivate Equity related experience is a plusExperience with EPM planning tools (Vena Software, Adaptive Insights, Vena, Hyperion, Anaplan, etc.)Familiarity with ERP and CRM's (Netsuite, SFDC, etc)Bachelor's degree preferably in Finance, Accounting, or equivalent experienceExperience in a M&A environment is a plusTeam lead or management experience preferredBackground in driving FP&A initiativesStrong analytical and organizational skills: versatile and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously with competing deadlinesThrives working and operating in a fast paced, dynamic environmentExperience working with business leaders across different divisions and geographiesNew system implementation experience preferredAdvanced Microsoft Excel experienceWe're obsessed with making this the best job you've ever had!
