Global Medical Affairs Strategy & Execution Specialist 1 year contract (with extensions)Onsite in Rartian NJ 1-2 times a week (mandatory)Responsibilities:Generation of an Integrated Evidence Generation Plan that meets prioritized regional needsMedical Affairs input into product development and life-cycle managementGlobal Medical Affairs Team managementDevelopment and execution of the publication strategyglobal publication plansDevelopment and execution of JGS funded medical strategies (advisory boards, prepost congress meetings, etc.)Partner in preparing robust Integrated Evidence Generation Plans for compounds in development that reflect prioritized regional and local needs.Partner to manage the scientific communication and publication process. Ensure the development of publications follows the Cross-Pharma Publication SOP. Manage publication vendors. Coordinate publication discussions in collaboration with agency partners and J&J stakeholders. Manage the relationship with editorial staff at key journals and key scientific and academic societies.Partner to manage and ensure successful GMA Operating model via the Global Medical Affairs Team.Manage the TAProduct GMA Budget and vendors.Supervise the ReCAP process for Medical Affairs studies. Ensure consistent implementation of the process and conducts due diligence activities.Supervise TAProduct performance metrics and develop plans to address any performance deviations.Ownership for maintenance of developed processes and updates. Processes are limited to those that are well established and where functionalcross-functional alignment has been achieved.Requirements:Minimum of a BABS required. Advanced degree is preferred.Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience requiredExperience in a medical, clinical or scientific environment is requiredProject leadership skills are required, including strong organizational skills and the ability to drive projects forward to completion while maintaining focus on the long-term strategy.Experience handling publication vendors andor other medical affairs vendors (e.g., advisory board) is -depth knowledge of study methodology, data analysis techniques, and critical review of publications is strongly preferred.Budget and vendor management experience is preferred.Global mentality with consistent record of partnering cross culturally and regionally is preferred.Proven experience in getting results in a highly complex and constantly evolving environment is required.
