Production Engineer

Job Overview Arrowhead is helping a plastics manufacturing plant fill a Production Engineer role in Akron, OH. **Plastic Injection Molding process experience is preferred**Pay around $70k - $85k **Only US citizens apply**ResponsibilitiesProvides engineering support for all production activities, primary focus in Plastics division.Assist with molding machine set-up and process programming on new and existing products.Assist with robot programming.Responsible for identification and implementation of cost reductions.Provides Engineering Support for new project production start-upProvides support for resolving quality and production issues within the plant.Provides engineering support for the Maintenance Department.Assists with development of labor standards for the incentive system with the use of time studies.Other duties as assigned by management.SkillsExperienceAt least 5 years plastic injection molding processesProficient in CAD software preferably Solid Works and Microsoft OfficeBS in EngineeringInjection mold tooling knowledgeKnowledge of process engineering to optimize production workflows.Experience with robot programming for automated processes is a plus.Understanding of industrial equipment operation and maintenance procedures.Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Pay negotiable
