LHH is seeking a Senior Process Engineer for a Direct Hire, Permanent Placement position with a manufacturing client near Danville, IN. This is an opportunity to join a growing organization and to make a strong impact in on their process engineering team as well as new product development, tooling, and more. The compensation is commensurate to experience and will range between $110,000-125,000 per year plus bonus and includes comprehensive medical insurance plans, generous Paid Time Off, and a 401K plan.***Company will not sponsor applicants for Work Visas***JOB RESPONSIBILITIESDevelop effective manufacturing processes by evaluating product requirements and designing, modifying, and testing manufacturing methods and equipment to ensure desired resultsMonitor and improve manufacturing efficiency by analyzing and planning workflow while optimizing space and equipment layoutLead continuous improvement efforts to boost efficiency, cut costs, and reduce scrapManage multiple projects, set schedules and timelines with action items, determine resource needs, manage budgets, and adhere to compliance standardsIdentify new and creative solutions to resolve complex issues during the manufacturing processIdentify and resolve process operating problems, investigate equipment failures, draft follow-up action reports, and share technical assistance with workers on the floorConduct root cause analysis of quality issues during manufacturing process and diagnose and resolve issues with machinery and toolingApply industry knowledge of product design, fabrication, assembly, and tooling, and materials and collaborate with production associatesCollaborate with the New Product Development Team on new launches and provide guidance regarding how to overcome production issues and how to effectively implement improvements to the manufacturing processStay abreast of industry developments and integrate new techniques, technologies, and processesHandle additional duties as assigned by the Engineering ManagerQUALIFICATIONS***NON-NEGOTIABLE REQUIREMENT: Must have 5+ years of plastics manufacturing experience and be knowledgeable regarding the characteristics of plastic materials***Bachelor Degree in Engineering is highly preferredMinimum of 5 years of process engineering andor manufacturing engineering experience within a manufacturing setting is requiredMust have experience working on the production floor with various types of plastic manufacturing equipmentIdeal candidates will have experience developing tooling for manufacturing equipmentMust possess the ability to read blueprints and wiring diagramsschematicsMust possess strong verbal and written communication skillsMust possess strong analytical, trouble-shooting, and problem-solving skillsMust be a highly motivated, self-starter who is able to succeed with little supervisionMust possess excellent interpersonal skills including the ability to effectively work as part of a cross-functional team***Company will not sponsor applicants for Work Visas***If you or someone in your network fit this profile and would like to apply for this Senior Process Engineer position located near Danville, IN then please submit your application alongside your resume using the link in this posting.Equal Opportunity EmployerVeteransDisabledTo read our Candidate Privacy Information Statement, which explains how we will use your information, please visit Company will consider qualified applicants with arrest and conviction records.
