Mechanical Foreman Job Description: This is an opportunity for a skilled leader with a strong commitment to safety, efficiency, and quality. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in overseeing mechanical scopes on heavy industrial and civil projects.Key Responsibilities:Oversee the installation of both underground and aboveground pipes for waterwastewater treatment facilities.Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to meet project deadlines and milestones.Review and interpret construction plans, blueprints, and specifications to ensure precise installation.Ensure full compliance with safety regulations, including excavation and trenching safety.Conduct regular site inspections to proactively identify and resolve safety risks or hazards.Track project progress, budget, and resource allocation to ensure goals are met.Maintain accurate documentation of materials, equipment use, and testing results.Work closely with quality control teams to ensure all work meets industry standards and client municate regularly with project superintendents and site inspectors to coordinate activities.Qualifications:5+ years of experience in overseeing complex mechanical projects on heavy industrial and civil projects.Experience working on WWTP projects is highly preferred. Proven leadership experience, managing construction crews and working with -depth knowledge of construction materials, methods, and equipment.Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.Strong communication skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with team members and stakeholders.Detail-oriented, committed to delivering quality work while adhering to safety protocols.Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.OSHA Construction Safety Certification required.Union membership required. High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications or technical training is a plus.
