Position: Equipment EngineerLocation: West Nyack, NY (On-site: Tuesdays & Wednesdays)Responsibilities:Design, procure, and manage the construction of new cell sites.Assist in designing, procuring equipment, and managing cell site expansions.Assess equipment needs for new and existing cell sites based on engineering plans and project outlines.Coordinate the ordering and integration process to ensure complete equipment sets for projects.Manage supplier relationships to meet network milestones and turn-up dates.Provide status updates during project meetings.Follow established procedures for equipment tracking and inventory itiate material requests for shipments from centralized warehouses.Track equipment with a focus on cost reduction and just-in-time ordering.Monitor equipment expenditures and oversee installations and acceptance processes.Review technical drawings for accuracy.Utilize FUZE to order equipment.Must-Have Skills (Top 3):Telecom Equipment Engineering: 5-7 years of experience in designing, procuring, and managing equipment for telecom infrastructure.Vendor & Inventory Management: Proficiency in supplier coordination, equipment tracking, and inventory management processes.Technical Proficiency: Hands-on experience with tools like FUZE, MapInfo, CATSFULCRUM, and PeopleSoft.Desired Skills:4+ years in the cellular or telecommunications industry.Familiarity with DC power systems in telecom environments.Understanding of cellular network architecture.Experience with Ericsson base station equipment.Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Suite.EducationCertifications:Associate's degree or 2+ years of relevant work experience.3+ years of industry-specific work experience preferred.What you didn't know about us:Competitive salaryHealth, Dental and Vision BenefitsShortLong Term Disability and Critical CareIllness ProtectionLife Insurance and Retirement PlansEmployee Assistance ProgramWith this position, you will get the opportunity to work with our game changing clients and further advance your already valuable experience in the telecom industry!We are Connectors.
