Calibration Technician Transmille is seeking a part-time calibration technician to enhance efficiency in our North American Calibration lab. This role involves working with advanced measurement equipment to ensure accuracy and reliability for our customers. The ideal candidate will have a background in electrical testingverification, attention to detail, and strong analytical skills. This position offers an opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology in a dynamic laboratory environment. Day to Day you will Calibrate our customers' instruments using our cutting-edge hardware and automation software. Carefully analyze instrument output for anomalies or inaccuracies Diagnose and report faults in equipment to our Calibration Lab Manager Read datasheets for units under test to write and assess calibration procedures Receive inbound instruments into our asset management system Carefully pack and ship instruments to customer sites Perform additional responsibilities as needed You are A detail-oriented electrical technician with 0-2 years of experience participating in quality management or quality assurance programs. Familiar with testing and measurement equipment (Multimeters, oscilloscopes, etc.) Able to read and interpret technical manuals and wiring diagrams Able to communicate complex subjects quickly and clearly Strong understanding of metric prefixes (Giga, Mega, Kilo, Centi, Milli, Micro, Nano, Pico, etc.) Strong understanding of SI units (kelvin (K), ampere (A), volt (V), ohm (Ω), watt (W), farad (F), Henry (H)) Comfortable using Windows 10 and Excel Able to commute to our Colchester, VT office 5 days a week A fast learner Able to lift 50lbs over your head occasionally Comfortable traveling domesticallyinternationally a few days a yearBonus points if You are a native or near-native Spanish speaker, writer, and reader You can read and interpret technical schematics You are familiar with the ISO 17025:2017 Standard You are familiar with Microsoft SQL You have an associate's degree or equivalent experience.We encourage you to apply for this position even if you don't meet all of the qualifications listed.
