The group is driving an operational excellence culture and entirely new standards are being created in regard to safety, delivery and efficiency.With this, we are seeking a Senior Food Safety and Quality Assurance Manager to sit within a crucial plant, serving numerous well-known brands. They will oversee the FSQA standards ata crucial location and implement a culture of awareness and efficiency in these areas, safety and quality, while motivating the workforce. The implementation of the validation behind the quality processes and attributes is a vital part of the cultural vision and movement.This professional will need to be a hands on and strategic leader, well experienced with driving product quality and an ability to analyze trends of customer complaints.Job Responsibilities.Validates quality processes and quality attributes.Measures production; documents evidence.Determines operational and performance qualification; updates quality assurance procedures.Maintains and improves product quality by completing product, company, system, compliance, and surveillance audits; investigates and analyzes trends of customer complaints.Conducts audits of facilities, suppliers, and vendors.Manages and leads all GFSI, 3rd party, regulatory and customer audits.Manages a food safety team, organizes its work, and ensures relevant training and education of the food safety team members.Ensures that the food safety management system is established, implemented, maintained, and updated and reports to the organization's top management on its effectiveness and suitability.Is responsible for all FSQA programs including, but not limited to, Environmental Monitoring, Allergen Management, Food Safety Preventative controls, and Good Manufacturing Practices.Is responsible for the Sanitation Program and oversight of the execution of sanitation tasks.Prepares Food Safety, HACCP, and other management review meetings.Reports and takes necessary action to prevent food safety, legality, and quality problems from occurring.Requirements.
