We operate at 19 branch locations and 14 showrooms throughout Georgia, Tennessee, and South Carolina.About the Role - Lead the PDI Commercial Plumbing business segment, delivering profitable growth while establishing a culture aligned with PDI's core values. Accountable for strategic and tactical planning, development of a world class team, establishing growth enabling systems and processes, delighting customers, and ultimately meeting or exceeding targeted business results.Responsibilities -Create and articulate a compelling vision and strategic plan for profitably growing the Commercial Plumbing segment.Establish key milestones within the strategic roadmap with an actionable tactical plan to deliver on objectives.Hire, engage, coach, and develop the team including Outside and Inside Sales functions for the Commercial Segment.Recommend and implement changes to the organizational structure of the team and territory alignment to best serve the end customer and achieve objectives.Arm the team with the systems, processes, and capabilities they need to be successful.Collaborate with cross functional partners to do so when applicable and build the business case for investment when additional resources are required.Establish and measure the appropriate leading and lagging KPIs to inform business decisions.Continuous collaboration with cross functional internal business partners in designing solutions as needs arise and constant communication on improvements within our business.Provide sound forecasts and allocate sales objectives across the team.Create strong relationships with key customers and vendor partners within the segment.Further, identify those for which strategic partnerships can unlock mutually beneficial results and take action to realize the opportunity.Share the voice of the customer with internal stakeholders regularly - advocate for solutions that earn higher share of wallet and increase switching costs.Conduct regular training and development programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of the sales team.Monitor and analyze sales performance, adjusting plans as needed to meet and exceed sales and profit goals.Collect and implement best practices from our industry and beyond by leveraging a broad network of similarly situated leaders.Facilitate connections between team members and external partners to foster continuous learning.Monitor customer, market, and competitor activity and adjust plans as necessary.Ensure that PDI's goals, mission, vision, and Core Values are at the forefront and practiced throughout the Commercial Plumbing team.Foster a customer-centric culture within the sales team, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and building upon PDI's reputation in the industry.Qualifications - Bachelor's Degree is preferredRequired Skills - 3+ years of experience within the Wholesale Plumbing industry, 5+ years of Commercial Sales leadership experience required, demonstrated history of scaling new or existing business segments, Proven ability to accomplish goals and objectives, and the ability to planthink strategicallyPreferred Skills - Must be passionate, self-motivated, confident, and an enthusiastic, team player who represents a positive image, possesses a high level of personal and professional integrity, and who can lead, communicate, and relate to people within all locations and levels of the company, Will have a proven track record in displaying excellent communication skills, including the ability to conduct effective presentations and an ability to influence and persuade, Proven ability to lead teams - securing buy-in to the plan, driving effort to execute, and developing the capabilities required to be successful, Will possess the ability to visualize and follow through on ideas and concepts and will display an entrepreneurial spirit and a willingness to explore new ideas, Must be able to manage time effectively by being present with employees, customers, and vendors - in and out of office settings.
