As a part of the Nikon Advanced Manufacturing Ecosystem, we leverage our engineering and manufacturing capabilities, alongside Nikon SLM Solutions and organic AM solutions, to push the boundaries of additive manufacturing in industry.Position OverviewAs the Senior Facilities Building Engineer at Nikon AM Synergy, you will fill a key role within our advanced manufacturing facility, responsible for ensuring the safe and reliable operation of facilities and production-related equipment. Reporting to Director of Engineering and Operations, this position requires a hands-on approach, strong leadership capabilities, and the ability to oversee a small team. You will need to operate with autonomy to solve diverse and complex problems, excel at managing multiple projects at a time and work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. As the owner of our critical infrastructure, you will be responsible for infrastructure uptime to support manufacturing operations. You will work directly with other managers, supervisors, leads, technicians and external vendors to support these goals. You will play a critical role in maintaining the organization's CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System), ensuring compliance with various industry standards (OSHA, State, Local, ISO14001, and AS9100D), and driving continuous improvement initiatives.Reports to:Director of Engineering and OperationsResponsible for: Manage and oversee a small team of techniciansManage and oversee contractors for professional repairs, ensuring quality service, timely response, and fair pricing through effective negotiation and vendor relationship managementConduct routine inspections of premises and equipment to ensure optimal operationPerform preventative maintenance on facilities and production-related equipmentPerform basic repairs and maintenance tasks as needed to keep equipment operationalOversee the installation of new equipment, ensuring proper setup and functionalityIdentify and diagnose mechanical issues, implementing corrective measures to address them promptlyOversee the implementation and adherence to our EH&S programManage and employ our Computerized Maintenance Management SystemOther duties may be assigned.
