Position OverviewWe are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Professional with experience in the Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) industry to join our client's team. The ideal candidate will be a proven "sales hunter" with a passion for identifying and securing new business opportunities. This role is focused on driving growth by establishing and developing relationships with new clients, generating leads, and closing deals.Key ResponsibilitiesBusiness Development: Identify, prospect, and secure new business opportunities within the CPG sector, focusing on achieving and exceeding sales targets.Lead Generation: Research and build a robust pipeline of potential clients through market analysis, networking, and cold outreach.Client Engagement: Build strong relationships with prospective clients, understanding their needs and presenting tailored solutions to align with company offerings.Sales Strategy: Develop and execute strategic sales plans to expand market presence and penetrate new accounts.Negotiation & Closing: Lead negotiations, prepare proposals, and close deals with new clients to drive revenue growth.Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, including marketing, product development, and account management, to ensure seamless onboarding and client satisfaction.Market Analysis: Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market opportunities to inform sales strategies and maintain a competitive edge.Qualifications & SkillsExperience: 3-10 years of sales experience, preferably in the Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) industry.Sales Expertise: Proven track record as a "sales hunter" with demonstrated success in driving new business and achieving sales targets. Negotiation: Strong negotiation and closing skills with the ability to build long-term partnerships.Self-Starter: Highly motivated and proactive, with the ability to work independently and manage time effectively.Analytical Thinking: Ability to analyze market trends and data to identify new opportunities and develop strategies.CRM Proficiency: Familiarity with CRM tools and sales tracking software to manage leads, track performance, and report results.Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred but not required.Salary is $80K to $90K plus commission
