Boutique investment management firm is seeking an Associate Advisor. This position is ideal for a dynamic, self-directed individual who will thrive in a small office environment and desires to progress along an Advisor career path. Support client meetings.· Attend client meetings with the Lead Advisor to take detailed notes and learn new advice skills· Support preparation for client meetings by ensuring all documentation for the discussions is ready in advance of the meeting· Lead the post-meeting processes including distributing organized notes, identifying and delegating action items, and updating relevant documentsPrepare documentation of advice for new and existing clients as directed by Lead Advisors· Work with Lead Advisor on advice strategy· Conduct research on various investment strategies and other research projects that support the CIO and Advisor· Conduct financial modeling of client scenarios utilizing financial planning software· Prepare documents such as financial plans and submit for review and make modifications as required Ensure implementation of agreed advice strategies.· Work closely with Lead Advisors to ensure all advice implementation activities are completed as needed following client meetings· Coordinate the completion of all activities associated with implementing the advice strategy Develop and effectively implement systems and tools that will increase the efficiency and accuracy of the documentation of advice.· Master the use of all software within the firm including financial planning, performance reporting and CRM· Identify process inefficiencies in the development and documentation of advicereports and financial plans· Develop systems and tools to support the new advice development processesTake a proactive role in the client service experience within the firm including but not limited to: · Collaborate with custodian to optimize operational support· Proactively and promptly address client administrative matters to ensure all client service expectations are being met by the firm· Make a proactive and personal commitment to understand client circumstances, issues, and goalsMaintain professional competencies and adhere to the firm's ethical standards and cultural values.· Attend appropriate courses and training to continue to develop an understanding of the latest advice practicesQualifications:· Bachelor's degree and one of the following: Series 6665 or CFP· Financial planning industry experience · Strong understanding of the financial markets· Strong understanding of the advice process· Technical para-planning experience highly preferable· Customer service experience· Communication and interpersonal skills· Experience with Microsoft Office Suite · Analytical and research skills· Demonstrates an aptitude and willingness to learn· Demonstrates a strong work ethic by going the extra mile · Wants to progress along an advisor career path· Passionate about people and helping them achieve their financial goals· Displays strong attention to detail
