It's more than 100,000 products are sold through a combination of direct sales, catalogs, and distributors to original equipment manufacturers and aftermarket customers in aerospace, medical, electronics, energy, agriculture, construction, and other sectors.With 25+ manufacturing facilities strategically located across the United States to support a diverse customer base, MW Components employs a highly skilled, knowledgeable and motivated workforce dedicated to continual innovation, genuine value and exceptional service.Apply your talents to:Interpret and execute work orders based on machining instructions, drawings, and specificationsLoad, operate and maintain various CNC machines and other machining equipment (2-axis lathe, 4th axis mill) to produce parts conforming to print requirementsMake basic and complex program or tooling adjustments to produce conforming partsCreate custom tooling to include boring barsDocument program or set up datasheet adjustments to master files for future useAchieve precise tolerances (.0005) and surface finishes through quality workmanshipMeasure and inspect machined parts to ensure compliance with quality standardsDocument all work performed on product within the ERP systemPerform daily routine preventive maintenance and checks on machine(s)Troubleshoot and resolve equipment malfunctions and machining issuesReportinvestigate repetitive problems and propose solutions to resolve themMentor and assist colleagues in set ups or program adjustmentsParticipate in process improvement and optimization initiativesMaintain a safe and healthy work environment by following standards and proceduresAdhere to established Company procedures and policies, work schedule, attendance standards and safety standards Qualifications:High school diplomaGED. Recent manufacturing technologymachining program grads welcome!!2-5 years' experience as a Machinist in any of the following disciplines: IDODJigSurface Grinding Hone, CNC Mill, CNC Lathe, Manual Mill, Manual LatheUnderstanding of CNC programming, G code, M code and machine controlCADCAM, Mastercam, SolidWorks knowledgeStrong understanding of material properties and machining capabilities of various metals-will be working with all types of alloys-must be knowledgeable working with titanium, Inconel, and other super alloysKnowledge of machining principles, tooling selection, and cutting techniquesKnowledge and use of hand tools and general inspection toolsMust readwritespeak English fluentlyAbility to read and follow work orders, set up data sheets, and measurement instructionsCMM experience desired Computer skills (MS Office) and experience in ERP systems preferredKnowledge of manufacturing processes related to aerospace industry is requiredWorking knowledge of manufacturing principals and basic shop math, able to perform standard to metric numerical conversionsPrevious experience in production and quality control methods (ISO9001, AS9100 etc.) preferredPrevious experience in Lean Manufacturing implementation and production systems preferredPunctual and reliable attendanceAbility to stand for long periods of time, lift up to 40 poundsWe support team members with:Offer a 4 x 10 schedule: Monday-Thursday, OT may be available on Fridays.
