The Power Plant Engineer plays a key role in the planning and support for the facilities maintenance outages.The ideal candidate will have a strong knowledge of GE Gas Turbines and related auxiliary equipment.Essential Duties & Responsibilities:Daily operations monitoring and maintenance support for the plant's gas turbine equipmentParticipation in daily meetingsPerform periodic review of all related parts and components (New, Used, or Refurbished) for completely, compliance with drawings, damage, etc.Develop and oversee storage and preservation plans.Verify storage levels.Ensure that the "Response Plans" are viable and adequate for the resources, tools, capabilities, and training on hand to minimize downtime.Where possible, demo the Response Plans for verification.Provide mentorship to company staff on efficient troubleshooting and analysis of issues.Ensure all surveillance activities, e.g., operator rounds, M&D, etc. are suitable to detect emerging issues in your discipline. Verify compliance of these surveillance activities.Actively monitor all aspects of your scope, role, and responsibilities on a weekly basis to identify changes and risks early. Take corrective and preventive action as appropriate.Meet or exceed KPIs for responsiveness, reliability, and availability.Conduct detailed maintenance planning, pre-outage, outage, and post-outage planning activities with the company.Other duties as assigned.Job Requirements:Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or related fieldExperience and demonstrated proficiency working with GE Fr 7EA turbines5+ years of gas turbine repair and maintenance experienceExperience performing borescope inspectionsExperience with scheduled, as well as unscheduled, maintenance of gas turbinesBenefits:Medical, Dental, and Vision Coverage401kGenerous PTOQualified applicants must be authorized to work in the United States.
