Job SummaryWe are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced IT Project Manager to lead technology initiatives within our healthcare organization. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in project management, a deep understanding of the healthcare industry, and the ability to collaborate effectively across various departments. This position is essential for ensuring that IT projects are completed on time, within scope, and aligned with institutional goals that support quality patient care.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and manage IT projects from inception to completion, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and compliance with healthcare regulations.Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including clinical staff, IT professionals, and stakeholders, to define project requirements, scope, and objectives.Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, budgets, and risk management strategies.Facilitate project meetings, providing updates to stakeholders, and ensuring effective communication throughout the project lifecycle.Monitor project progress, identifying and addressing any issues or obstacles that may affect timelines or deliverables.Ensure that project deliverables meet quality standards and satisfy stakeholder expectations.Conduct regular project assessments and evaluations to identify opportunities for process improvement and increased efficiency.Collaborate with vendors and external partners to coordinate project activities and ensure successful implementation of third-party solutions.Prepare and present project status reports, ensuring transparency and accountability to executive leadership and other stakeholders.Stay current with industry trends, best practices, and innovations in healthcare IT project management.QualificationsBachelor's degree in information technology, Healthcare Administration, Business Management, or a related field; Master's degree is preferred.Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in IT project management, preferably in a healthcare environment.Project management certification (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) is highly desirable.Proven track record of successfully managing IT projects, especially related to healthcare applications and systems.Strong understanding of healthcare regulations and compliance requirements, including HIPAA and HITECH.Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to engage and influence diverse stakeholders.Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on results and continuous improvement.Proficiency in project management tools and software (e.g., Microsoft Project, JIRA, Trello).Working ConditionsThis position may require occasional travel to various healthcare facilities for project oversight and coordination.Flexibility in work hours may be necessary to meet project timelines and stakeholder availability.
