To learn more about utility pole products manufactured at Silver Springs (including a 1-minute video overview), visit our product page: Overview:The Senior Maintenance Technician plays a critical role at our Silver Springs manufacturing facility, responsible for working on a wide array of duties ranging from immediate equipment repair to preventative maintenance, as well as elements of our current plant rebuild. This Tech will have the opportunity to make a significant impact on our daily operations and future growth of the plant.Key Duties:Lubricate and clean parts, equipment and spect, service, repair and construct plan processing equipment, including structures, utilities, loaders, hydraulics, pneumatics, mechanical and pressure vessel work throughout the plant.Perform maintenance on all mobile equipment, including minor repair work.Follow Preventative Maintenance Program established by the Company.Utilize welding and fabrication tools to alter, repair and fabricate processing equipment on various materials with structural integrity.Track inventory of serviceable parts required to maintain equipment and notify Lead.Document and report maintenance work performed and advise of future requirements in a timely manner.Assist with training new maintenance employees.Participate and contribute to company safety programs.Perform other related duties as assigned, including site cleanup.Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of this position.Shift & Wage:Monday to Friday 6:00 am to 4:30 pm$36.67 per hourPrimary QualificationsThree (3) or more years of industrial maintenance experience required; 5 or more years preferred (*Note: for candidates with less experience, we will consider you for a non-senior or more entry-level Maintenance Tech role.)Experience in electrical and hydraulicsExcellent troubleshooting skillsAbility to read schematics and electrical drawingsWelding skills a plusCompensation and Employee Benefits:As a Stella-Jones team member, you will have access to excellent benefits and incentives including:Competitive compensation: $36.67 per hourAnnual profit sharingbonus program401(k) savings plan with 6% Company match (150% on the first 4% deferred)Comprehensive total benefits package with 3 medical plans to choose fromSeveral company-paid benefits including:Dental and Vision coverageLife insurance and Accidental Death & Dismemberment (AD&D) policiesLong-Term Disability CoverageAccess to a robust employee assistance program2 weeks paid vacation and 9 holidaysCareer advancement opportunitiesAbility to purchase Company stockEqual Opportunity EmployerVeteransDisabled
