Senior EHS Manager (Aerospace/Metals)

We have been engaged by a FORTUNE 500 industrial manufacturing organization who is actively seeking a Senior EHS Manager (Environmental, Health, and Safety) due to a recent divisional transfer. Reporting to the VPGM, this position will be responsible for strategically leading EHS personnel and programs for a $500M Operationcampus. This is a permanent, direct-hire opportunity.POSITION OVERVIEWReporting to the VPGM, the Site EHS Director will be responsible for leading a team of (4) while acting as "Business Partner" with GM.Lead and direct personnel and strategy for Environmental and Safety programs.Ensure campus wide awarenessculture of regulatory (federal, state, local) and organizational environmental and safety requirements.Oversee EHS training procedures for new and existing employees.Identify, collect, analyze, and report up EHS-specific metrics and KPIs.Act as point of contact for regulatory authorities.Drive effective, positive change to EHS programs and EHS culture.Lead EHS auditing strategy.POSITION REQUIREMENTSBachelor's Degree in Environmental Science, OccupationalIndustrial Safety, or related discipline.3+ years of EHS Leadership experience within heavy manufacturing environment(s).Well-rounded EHS skills and expertise (safety and environmental)Our client offers a highly competitive portfolio of insurance and retirement benefits, advancement opportunities.
