Job Title: Salesforce Revenue Cloud Advanced ArchitectLocation: Pleasanton CA, Walnut Creek, CA, or Tempe, AZ (Hybrid) Employment Type: Full-TimePreferred Location & Work Setup:Candidates located in Walnut Creek, CA, or Tempe, AZ, are strongly preferred.Hybrid work model - ability to attend in-person meetings and workshops as needed.About the Role:We are seeking a Salesforce Revenue Cloud Advanced Architect to lead the design, implementation, and optimization of advanced revenue management solutions for a key customer. With Salesforce CPQ already implemented and Billing Cloud in progress, this role will focus on enhancing automation, revenue recognition, forecasting, compliance (ASC 606), and ERP integrations to enable a seamless quote-to-revenue lifecycle. The ideal candidate will be based near Walnut Creek, CA, or Tempe, AZ, ensuring effective collaboration with stakeholders and teams. Key Responsibilities:Architect and implement Salesforce Revenue Cloud solutions, including CPQ, Billing, Revenue Recognition, and Advanced Revenue Management (ARM).Define and optimize end-to-end quote-to-cash (QTC) and revenue operations (RevOps) processes, ensuring seamless integration between CPQ, Billing, and ERP systems.Design scalable solutions for complex pricing models, multi-year contracts, subscription amendments, usage-based billing, and milestone invoicing.Lead the implementation of revenue recognition automation in compliance with ASC 606 and IFRS 15 tegrate Salesforce Revenue Cloud with ERP, finance, and accounting platforms (SAP, NetSuite, Oracle, Workday, etc.).Define and configure automated revenue forecasting, deferrals, allocations, and contract modifications.Ensure seamless data flow and reconciliation between Salesforce Billing, ERP systems, and financial reporting tools.Establish governance frameworks to maintain compliance with revenue accounting standards and drive operational efficiency.Develop custom automations, batch processing, and performance optimizations for large-scale revenue transactions.Collaborate with Salesforce Technical Project Managers, Admins, Developers, and Business Analysts to ensure smooth project delivery.Stay updated on Salesforce Revenue Cloud advancements, industry regulations, and best practices, recommending process improvements where applicable. Required Qualifications:10+ years of Salesforce experience, with at least 5+ years specializing in Salesforce Revenue Cloud (CPQ & Billing).Expertise in Revenue Recognition (ASC 606, IFRS 15), deferred revenue, multi-element arrangements, and milestone-based revenue allocation.Strong knowledge of subscription-based models, consumption-based pricing, and renewals automation.Experience integrating Salesforce Revenue Cloud with ERP (SAP, NetSuite, Oracle) and financial systems.Proficiency in Salesforce Flow, Apex, Lightning Components, SOQL, and integrations (MuleSoft, APIs, middleware).Hands-on experience with performance tuning, batch processing, and data reconciliation for revenue transactions.Salesforce Revenue Cloud Consultant certification is required.Salesforce Architect certifications (e.g., Application Architect, System Architect) are a plus.Experience with Agile and SAFe methodologies in an enterprise environment.Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to translate complex financial business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
