Pre-Weigh Technician

Primary Responsibility Weigh Inventory, Perform Incoming Adjustments, Pull Samples of Incoming Materials and Stage for Production Runs in Compounding. Read and interpret work order requirementsUnderstand and use FIFO rotation systemUnderstand and use SAP ERP & WMS system, including issuance of materials to work orders and adjusting inventory for return to stock itemsUse scales to accurately weigh chemicals for batchingStage bulk chemicals for batchingUnderstand and obey all GMP and Safety practicesKeep accurate records of transactionsUse aseptic techniques when opening and dispensing from containers.Maintain required log booksPerform other duties as assigned.Other Functional Responsibilities Keep pre-weigh area clean and tidy. Sample raw materials as requested. Assist with compounding as necessary. Assist with retestexpired materials as required. Supervisory Responsibilities This position has no supervisory responsibilities. Educational Requirements Minimum High School DiplomaGED. Ability to speak, read and write fluent English.
