RnR Marine was formed in 2004 and incorporated in South Carolina in 2008 and is based in Mount Pleasant, SC. RnR Marine drops ships custom made-to-order boat products from 10-13 suppliers around the country to customers around the world. RnR Marine has also patented a couple of products including the T-Topless-2â„¢ and Montauk-T-Topless-2â„¢ folding T-Tops for boats and the Flats-Topâ„¢ products, which are manufactured in North Carolina.Role DescriptionThis is a full-time on-site role as a Personal Assistant to the CEO and Manager of Customer Support at RnR Marine, Inc. The role involves providing executive administrative support, managing day to day sales and customer service, working with suppliers, managing projects and utilizing clerical skills. The position is located in Mount Pleasant, SC.QualificationsExecutive Administrative Assistance and Personal Assistance skillsExperience in administrative assistance rolesExcellent organizational and time management skillsStrong communication and interpersonal skillsProficiency in Microsoft Office Excel and WordAbility to maintain confidentiality and professionalismProject Management experienceExperience in the marine industry is a plusBachelor's degree in Business Administration or related fieldServicesGain a good understanding of RnR Marine's processes, and a good working knowledge of the marine industry and boats, particularly boat canvas, tops, covers and carpets to aid in processing orders and responding to requests for quotes from potential customs,Process all incoming Sales Orders in Excel (be an expert user of Microsoft Excel),Respond via Email to all open Sales Orders queries,Should be interested in boats,Process Purchase Orders (information drawn from Excel file and PO sent via Email or order placed online) to suppliers based on Sales Orders or direction from the CEO,Perform all related Customer Service functions,Develop a positive working relationship with suppliers,Visit suppliers with CEO as needed from time to time (10-20 daysyear) to develop positive working relationships,Attend marine trade shows (boat shows) from time to time (10-20 daysyear) as needed,Understand and lead various projects as assigned by the CEO, accompanying CEO to meetings as needed,Manage CEO's day-to-day personal and business matters, including: opening most mail and taking appropriate actions, bill payment, keeping offices tidy, attending meetings on CEO's behalf when possible, etc. ,Take on a high level project management role for all company projects to make sure tasks are being accomplished per the developed schedule,Organize and protect all documents (file system) and data (backups),Support efforts with other businesses owned by the CEO (TBD) and philanthropies founded by the CEO (as directed by the CEO,Perform all work in a private office on the middle floor of the CEO's home (the CEO has his own, separate office on the top floor of the home),Share with the Company any prior customer service experience and knowledge with the primary goal of improving company's customer pensationSubject to providing the services as outlined above, the Contractor will be paid the sum of $23-32 per hour (based on experience) for typically 30-50 hours per week (excluding travel time on business trips) via 1099. Hours per week may be adjusted to less than 30 or more than 50 by mutual agreement between the parties (Note: the company is a seasonal business with its peaks from March through September, which could ramp up to 50-60 hoursweek in JuneJuly),The Company will be invoiced biweekly with payment due within 3 business days of receipt of the invoice,The Company will pay all travel and reasonable food and lodging expenses in the even that travel is required,The Contractor will transition from a contractor to a Full Time employee (W2) within 6 months based on success in this position, and benefits such as vacation and insurance will be offered at that time,A Stock Ownership program will be made available as a bonus plan after 2-3 years of successful service as a full time employee.
