Engineering Team Lead

Our client is currently seeking a Lead Engineer (Engineering Manager). This person will report into the Plant Director and lead the Engineering department for the facility. Candidates with previous Mold Shop Injection Molding Experience will be given the most consideration and they should be able to design & develop new and existing molds utilizing SolidWorks. Engineers interested in having a discussion should contact Lee Douglas @ 610 639-6573 or email a current resume to This job will have the following responsibilities: Ensure all building facilities, plant equipment, and molds are maintained for optimum operating efficiency. Design and develop new molds and direct improvements for existing molds utilizing SolidWorks. Coordinate and direct outside contractor operations through requisition approvals, within scope of authority, and monitoring contractor activities in conjunction with the Managing Director. Control cost of supplies, equipment, and labor hours in line with budgetary requirements. Collaborate with Accounting to make sure Capital Projects remain within budget. Conduct regular meetings with all direct reports to ensure teammates understand how their roles contribute to the organization's success. Develop managerial plan for achieving department goals. Effectively assign tasks, projects, or special assignments and define achievable goals for direct reports. Conduct objective performance appraisals for direct reports in alignment with company standards. Recommend pay and merit increases for direct reports based on established criteria. Coach subordinates to foster an environment of continuous growth.Qualifications & Requirements:Bachelors Degree Preferred3+ Years of Engineering Leadership within Manufacturing - Managed Direct Reports MUST be proficient with SolidWorks & Design Software Previous CMMS Experience - Utilize Computer Systems within Maintenance ManagementPrior Experience with Injection Molding Processes with Paper, Corrugated or Plastics
