Together we are searching for a Controller to join their team on a full-time basis with a hybrid schedule at their Pleasantville, NJ location.Requirements:Carrying out the company's fiduciary responsibility in its relationship with investors, agencies, and owners of properties under our management.Reviews budgets for the managed properties at the beginning of the year and at mid-year along with Executive Staff.Responsible for Housing Assistance Payments contract renewals; determines, together with Regional Managers, whether rent increases should be budget or OCAF; responsible for notification letters to HUD and residents. Qualifications:Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting, CPA, or graduate degree.Three to five years of experience time managing staff.Familiarity with accounting and property management modules of Real Page or other property management and accounting software.Previous experience in affordable housing, and multi-family real estate.Excellent verbal and written communication skills which will enable clear concise communication with staff and outside pensation, Benefits, Perks:Compensation: $125k-$150k based on experience.Benefits:Medical, dental, and vision pany-paid life insurance, short-term and long-term disability.Pre-tax FSA, DSA, and transportation accounts.401(k) retirement plan.Employees earn paid time off in addition to company-paid holidays.Perks: Hybrid schedule of 3 days in the office and 2 days working from home.Bonus potential up to 10% of annual base compensation.Let's connect and get you your dream job!
