Job Title: Process Quality Engineer (Manufacturing)Location: Marshall, MI (Fully On-Site) - Open to relocating candidatesTerm: PermFull-TimeDirect HireIndustry: Automotive Manufacturing (Batteries and Electric Vehicles)Salary: $80,000 to $120,000 per year (base) - depends on experience (12 Months base + 1 month bonus)Note: Must have legal authorization to work in the United States. No Corp-to-Corp (C2CC2H) or Visa sponsorship provided.Travel: Please note that this role needs to go to China Headquarters for 2-3 months of training. If you are ok with traveling, then we can move forward with your application. We will help with the Visa to go to China. The training program combines learning with hands-on project work, so the training can be highly beneficial for career growth. Additionally, the salary during the training period will be paid according to U.S. standards. We will also cover airfare and accommodation during the training.Job Overview:To better serve the global auto industry electric vehicle trend in the United States, we are seeking multiple dedicated and experienced Process Quality Engineers to oversee the quality management and control of our production line processes. This role involves implementing quality assurance activities and executing the assigned quality assurance tasks.Essential Functions:Be responsible for quality management and control of the production line processes.Ensure all quality-related activities are performed effectively and in compliance with company standards and requirements.Monitor and manage quality activities including SPC (Statistical Process Control), FAI (First Article Inspection), MES (Manufacturing Execution System) inspection, FIFO (First In, First Out), error proofing, rework, and equipment qualification.Support various process audits, including process audits and LPA (Layered Process Audit) audits.Conduct quality risk identification and initiate quality improvement activities.Manage changes in the production process and ensure effective implementation of process response plans.Provide training and support to enhance the PQE technicians' overall competency.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field.3+ years of experience in production quality control or quality assurance, particularly in the vehicle manufacturing industry.Strong knowledge of the basic principles of battery operations.Familiarity with the basic characteristics of communication faults and mechanical structure failure.Proficiency in product failure analysis methods.Proficient in using quality analysis and improvement tools such as FMEA (Failure Modes and Effects Analysis), FTA (Fault Tree Analysis), 8D (8 Disciplines Problem Solving), Six Sigma, and SPC (Statistical Process Control).Strong data analysis and processing abilities.Proficient in using office software (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite).Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to maintain a full-time work schedule with regular in-person attendance is required for this position.Ability to interact professionally with individuals of varied backgrounds and skill level.Physical Requirements:Ability to move around work sites, which may include walking, standing, and climbing ladders or stairs.Flexibility to bend, kneel, or crouch, particularly when inspecting installations or troubleshooting.Capability to lift and carry moderate weights, typically up to 25-50 pounds.Occasional lifting of heavier items may be required.Ability to work in various environments, including offices, construction sites, and manufacturing facilities.Willingness and ability to travel to various job sites, which may require driving or other forms of transportationBenefits:Competitive salary commensurate with prehensive benefits package including medical, dental, and vision coverage.401(k) retirement savings plan with company match.Paid time off and holidays.Professional development terview Process:Round 1 (via Zoom) - Technical Interview with the Hiring ManagerRound 2 (via Zoom) - Panel Interview (a combination of technical and behavioral)Round 3 (via Zoom) - Wrap-Up Call with the HR Manager
