Project Manager

JOB DESCRIPTIONInsight Global is hiring an Environmental Engineer to join one of our engineering and construction clients in NYNJ. This is a full time opportunity on a hybrid work model handling water projects across Edison, NJ; NYC; and Latham. The selected candidate can report through any one of these three office locations - preferably Edison, NJ. In this role, you will oversee the planning, execution, and optimization of water projects, to meet community needs and environmental standards and to drive the transformation of water systems and enhance regional water infrastructure in the Northeast. Key responsibilities include defining project scopes, schedules, budgets, and objectives, assessing and mitigating project risks, and ensuring adherence to company policies. You will manage project costs, client billings, and subcontractor payments, monitor project status and risks, and implement necessary changes. Additionally, you will ensure safety compliance, provide guidance to project teams, manage project resources, and maintain strong client relationships to ensure satisfaction and identify opportunities for repeat business.REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE- 4+ years of project management experience, specific to environmentalwater (groundwaterwastewaterdrinking waterstormwater) - Experience with budget development, project planning, control and assurance methodologies, and accounting concepts and practices - Bachelor's degree in civil, environmental, or chemical engineering or equivalent - OSHA 10 certification - Strong familiarity with Office 365 applications and project management software - Excellent written and verbal communication skills and interpersonal skillsNICE TO HAVE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE- EIT or PE license - PMP Certification - 7+ years of project management experience, specific to environmentalwater (groundwaterwastewaterdrinking waterstormwater)
