Land Surveying CAD Technician

A Survey CAD Technician will draft surveys using AutoCAD Civil 3D based on information gathered in the field from the land survey crew. Essential FunctionsPreview survey field notes and field data and prepare survey using AutoCAD Civil 3DRead and interpret property descriptions andor maps, surveys, and other field documentsCommunicate with the land survey crew in the field and clients to ensure deliverables are metFollow company standards for drawing creation and presentation Essential Skills for Performing the JobSelf-motivatedDetail-orientedOrganizedOperating computers and the Microsoft Office suite Verbal and written communication skills ProfessionalismRequired Education and Experience High School Diploma or GED equivalent1-2 years using AutoCAD Civil 3DBoundary, and topographical survey layout Candidate capable of obtaining Michigan Professional Survey license is a benefit and may offer the opportunity for advancement Position Type, Expected Hours This is a full-time position. Some flexibility in hours is permitted, but she must be available during the standard work hours of 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Physical DemandsThis position is largely sedentary.
