This Sales Manager will lead our efforts in delivering innovative SaaS (software as a service) solutions to local law enforcement agencies. This person will lead a team in-person in the Covington, LA office. In this role, you will drive sales growth, manage a high-performing team, and collaborate with internal stakeholders to meet and exceed revenue targets. You'll play a critical role in helping local law enforcement agencies improve efficiency, transparency, and effectiveness through our cutting-edge technology solutions. Duties and Responsibilities:1. Sales Strategy and Execution: a. Develop and implement sales strategies to expand the market share within the local law enforcement sector. b. Identify and target key decision-makers within law enforcement agencies, such as sheriffs, chiefs of police, administrators, and IT directors. c. Establish clear sales goals and monitor team performance against KPIs.2. Team Leadership: a. Recruit, train, and mentor a team of sales representatives, fostering a culture of high performance and accountability. b. Provide guidance and coaching to improve individual and team effectiveness. c. Conduct regular team meetings to review progress, share insights, and align objectives.3. Market Insights and Collaboration: a. Stay informed about trends, regulations, and challenges in the law enforcement industry. b. Collaborate with marketing and product teams to provide feedback on market needs and refine product offerings.4. Sales Operations and Reporting: a. Utilize CRM (Salesforce) tools to track sales activity, pipeline progress, and forecast revenue. b. Analyze sales data to identify opportunities for growth and improvement. c. Prepare regular reports for senior leadership, highlighting achievements, challenges, and recommendations.This position will pay an annual salary across a range based upon individuals' relevant experience between $110K-$120K, plus a bonus opportunity of $20K-$30K. Additionally, full benefits are available.Minimum Requirements: 5+ years of sales experience, preferably in SaaS or technology solutions. Proven track record of selling to government or public sector clients, with experience in law enforcement being highly desirable. Strong leadership and team management skills with a history of exceeding sales targets. Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. Proficiency in CRM (Salesforce or similar) software and sales analytics tools. Ability to travel as needed to meet with clients and attend industry events.
