Excellent opportunity to get your boots on the ground on interesting projects in Alameda and Contra Costa Counties. The position will work on a range of Construction Management functions, including monitoring on-site contractor activities, documenting site work, maintaining project documentation, communicating with contractors, and interacting with project owners and consultants. The position will work directly with our Project Managers, with opportunity to learn how public agency construction projects are managed. The ideal candidate will be a "people" person, interested in taking on increasing responsibilities to contribute to project success and develop skills needed to advance.Our firm is a close-knit projectconstruction management firm representing owners to manage meaningful public agency and nonprofit projects that positively impact their communities. Job Perks: • Rewarding work environment with opportunity for advancement• Meaningfulinteresting projects with great owners and team members• Hybrid work location: on project sites work from home• Very competitive compensation based on experience• Health insurances and company-paid 401k retirement contribution• Mileagecell phone reimbursement and vacationsickholiday payQualifications:· Ability to read construction documents· Attention to detail for site monitoring and document control· Excellent organizational skills to meet schedules and deadlines· Ability to work on multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment· Good interpersonal communication for interactions with other project team members· Strong skills with Excel, Word, Outlook, MS Project, Project Management Software (eg, Procore) and Bluebeam· Clean driving record and automobile required· 2-5 years on-site experience in construction management, architecture or engineering, or working for a general contractor· Degree in construction management, architecture or engineering highly desirableResponsibilities:· Support achievement of project goals and objectives· Foster good relations with project team members· Monitor work progress and notify Project Managers of any issues· Conduct regular site visits, document on-site work, safety and other site conditions· Coordinatemonitor testing & inspections· Maintain photographic documentation of site· Maintainorganize project documentation· Provide document control, including RFISubmittalPCOsCO logs· Monitortrack RFIs and submittal for timely processing· Assist in resolving construction-related issues· Attend, minute and coordinate project meetings· Monitor project LEED requirements as necessary· Assist with punch-walkpunch list and project start-up and commissioning· Assist with project close-out and final completion For consideration, please reply with resume and list of project experience.
