Ambition, dedication, attention to detail, and a warm smile are all winning characteristics that lead to the spirit of who we are.Position Summary: Oversees the management of all ilani managed food operations.Primary Duties and Responsibilities:Promotes superior guest service.Maintains, and perpetuates a positive organizational culture according to the principles of the Spirit of Tí¢lícn and the Core Values of ilani.Lead and manage food operation effort, supporting all ilani managed venues.Maintain a strong partnership with other divisions to optimize business opportunities.Direct the daily activities of team members, provide performance feedback both formally and informally, interpret and enforce policies and procedures.Oversee food operation areas, developing positive morale and superior guest service, throughout the division.Frequently inspect food outlets to ensure compliance with health and safety standards.Analyze food and beverage offerings regularly to ensure pricing structures meet or exceed the cost of goods goals.Stay abreast of market trends and suggest new food and beverage products to exceed guest expectations and increase profitability.Strong organizational, communication, and people skills.Assists with ordering and managing food inventory.Strong knowledge in the areas of budgeting and cost analysis, financial planning, strategic planning, profitability, productivity, inventory controls and concept development.Partner with the Executive Director of Food and Beverage to create and manage budgets, monitor forecasts, and achieve operational goals.Optimize labor productivity based on real-time business needs.Proven ability to identify qualified personnel and provide leadership to develop and direct staff maximizing performance. Partner with guest experience to analyze and improve guest satisfaction.Has the ability to extend complementary services in accordance with the approved comp matrix.Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.Perform other job-related duties as assigned.Minimum Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in business administration, hospitality, or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience. Five (5) years of food operations supervisorymanagement experience in a high volume, high quality, multi-unit food and beverage environment.Five (5) years of ordering and organizing food inventory.Must possess excellent interpersonal skills with an ability to foster a supportive and enabling team environment.Knowledge of all phases of food operations, including scheduling, cost puter skills required, including MS Word, Excel, Outlook and point of sale.MAST and Food Handling certification required.Flexible work schedule including but not limited to weekends, nights, and working during the holidays.The noise level in the work environment is usually loud to moderately loud.Must be able to stand, walk, and move through all areas of the casino.Maintain physical stamina and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment and effectively deal with guests, management, team members, and members of the business community in all situations.Adequate manual dexterity, including hand and wrist movement to operate office equipment and perform light to moderate lifting.Must be willing to work in a smoking environment.Must be willing to adhere to company health and safety measures.Preferred Qualifications:Previous experience in the HospitalityCasino Industry preferred.
