Preconstruction Manager

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Pre-Construction Design Manager to work with our company, an an award-winning design-build company that offers the best-in-class design and construction services with a focus on federal government healthcare and laboratory facilities.The ideal candidate will have experience developing project SOWs, scheduling, and pricingestimating construction projects. Once a designbuild project is secured, the Preconstruction Design Manager will be responsible to managesupervise the Preconstruction Phase of Services including, but not limited to, the following:Supervise team assigned to the project outlining roles, services required, and deadlines.Oversee the design team and client and be company's day-to-day contact for these relationships.Act as the client liaison until the project is transferred to construction team.Perform continual review and assessment of the developing design and trends in construction materialslaborpricing to verify that the projected cost and schedule of the design is in alignment with proposalOther duties the Pre-Construction Design Manager may perform include:Gather, calculate and compile data (unit costs, subcontractor quotes) for use in conceptual bid proposal estimates.Prepare routine estimates and constructability reviews under general supervision.Prepare bid packages, conceptual estimates, analysis of subcontractor bids, etc. for projects of size andor complexity, as assigned.
